Proceeds:
All proceeds go to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter. The majority of Hospice & Palliative Care Center’s revenue comes from the reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance. This is great news as no one is ever turned away because of their ability to pay. However, our challenge is to help fill the financial gap between reimbursement and patient needs amounting to approximately $1.7 million dollars a year. The Hospice Hope Run is our signature event. Funds generated from sponsorship dollars, registration fees and pledging help us to make a real impact towards successfully bridging the gap.
Light of Life:
Honor or Remember Someone Special who brought Sunshine to your life! For an extra $5 donation you will receive a Tyvec placard shaped like the Sun. Write the name of someone special on it to wear on run day. Pick them up at Registration or Packet Pick-Up.
