Hope Run Volunteers
The Hospice Hope Run could not be possible without the dedication of our numerous volunteers. Your dedication, time, talents, energy and passion is valued and deeply appreciated. THANK YOU!
This year marks the 21st Annual Hope Run. The Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Deacon Tower BB&T Field. The run site location will this year be at the Deacon Tower at BB&T Field. This site continues to help us grow as we continue our mission of providing HOPE to our patients and families. There is a need for numerous Run day volunteers and the various needs are listed below.
Run Day Volunteer Positions and Descriptions
Course Monitors // Assist
the police department with safely directing the runners and walkers
throughout the course. Monitors are placed in different locations
throughout both the 5K and 10K courses.
Split Timers // Split timers are placed at various mile markers throughout the course to communicate time to the participants.
Set Up // Volunteers are needed to set up the site location the day prior to the Run. This includes setting up tables and chairs and placing trash containers in various locations.
