Team Hei Hei

Thank you for joining Team Hei Hei!

Team Hei Hei is in memory of our sweet Papaw and the name comes from a toy chicken Stella gave him one year for his birthday. It's a special joke between them and of course chickens always make us think of him and his love of farming.

Stella received the most amazing care through counseling service at Trellis Supportive Care during Doug's cancer diagnosis in 2018 and after his passing in 2019. These counseling sessions and her week at Camp Carousel were at no cost to us and are made possible by generous donations to Trellis Supportive Care.

Our family cannot put a price on the care and love we received through Trellis Supportive Care but we ask that you help support us by raising funds and awareness for these incredible services.

Trellis Supportive Care, formerly Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, elevates the quality of life during a most difficult and vulnerable time. I recently accepted the challenge to raise money for them by organizing a team for the Hope Run and I am grateful for the opportunity to help make their mission possible.

The 24th Annual Hope Run will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2020 in Bailey Park at Innovation Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem. Funds generated help Trellis Supportive Care provide unmatched, compassionate care and support for anyone in our community who needs it.

We look forward to seeing you on April 25th. Please plan to register and stay for the Bailey Park Picnic and let’s celebrate our accomplishments together! If you can't join us, please consider donating to our team in memory of Papaw. Thank you for your support! It means so much to us!
